Laiana is an international corporate lawyer with experience assisting on a wide range of large cross-border M&A transactions, corporate matters and corporate advisory work at a global law firm servicing offices in Singapore, London and Hong Kong. Laiana has extensive exposure to multi-jurisdictional transactions involving complex due diligence, corporate structuring and regulatory considerations.

She is a specialist in the use of legal AI tools and technology-enabled processes to facilitate and streamline large-scale due diligence investigations, contract analysis and transaction management.

Before completing her Juris Doctor degree in Australia, Laiana was qualified to practice law in Brazil and completed postgraduate studies in English Corporate Law through the University of Law (United Kingdom). Complementary experience includes banking and finance, and capital markets matters, providing a broad commercial perspective across transactional work.
